04:41 pm - Hello, everyone! Has anyone here on LJ missed me much? Perhaps I should try to start posting on here again. I really do miss LJ! How is everyone doing? 12:55 pm - Wedding Stuff!!!! Woohoo!!!! :D Hey, everyone! Wow, I'm actually posting! Isn't it great? Lol. So, yeah... I've been really busy lately. Or at least in my opinion. Planning a wedding takes a lot of work! x_x So anyway, I just thought I'd update. ^_^ Well, yesterday Chip and I celebrated Valentine's Day, and it was really nice... ^_^ In other news, the original bridesmaid's dresses that we chose back in November were discontinued. So Candace and I went back to the place and chose a couple more dresses. The one out of those two that we liked best was also discontinued. So we are going with a more simple dress that is a much prettier color than the first one, and it is also $40 cheaper! Woohoo! ^_^ I e-mailed Jaime about it, and I haven't had a chance to tell Erin about the change. Of course, my bridesmaids won't be wearing that thing on their arms, however. Anyway, I'd also like to ask everyone's opinion on the cake that I think I like: What do you guys think of this cake style? Of course, it would have blue or lavender flowers rather than the red, since my wedding colors are blue and lavender. And maybe some of the decorations would be colored, too. But do you like it? Or do you think it's too plain or bare? I'd like to get some feedback from whoever's willing. And no, I have not read anyone's LiveJournals. So I don't know what the heck is going on in LJ world right now. Sorry! x_x Forgive me??? *_* Please?

01:55 pm Well, now that school's FINALLY over, and finals and all that stuff, I am now busy getting ready for Christmas, shopping for presents, working, and planning/cleaning for my little Christmas party this Friday. x_x So, after THAT, hopefully I'll have time to read everyone's LJs... maybe. x_x I can't wait to see you guys at my party! 10:58 pm - Suicide Club Well, I for one am VERY glad that school ends next week!!! :D And for me, I won't have to go back again until August!!! Woohoo!!! ^_^ But yeah, finals are next week... I have a lot of studying to do. But I don't feel like it's ALL that important to do on a Friday night, since the final I'm worried about isn't till Thursday, so I guess I'll update. ~shrugs~ A couple hours ago, I watched this really weird japanese movie called Suicide Club with Chip, Stip, Allan, and our new friend Brian. It was very interesting... and morbid. I certainly hope that none of you guys ever decide that suicide is suddenly cool and go join some sort of a suicide club... x_x So, how traumatizing would it be to you guys if suddenly these random 50+ cheerful school girls all held hands and jumped onto the train tracks of an oncoming subway train? @_@ I think I'd be scarred for life.... the blood of 50+ girls splattering everywhere.... x_x But yes... a very interesting, and quite disturbing movie, I must say. Well maybe not all that disturbing I guess (not all that graphic, really). Oh well, anyway, I can't wait to see Chronicles of Narnia this weekend!!!! *_* :D Current Mood: ~shrug~

11:01 am Hmmmm... perhaps my new LJ layout is a bit too much like my poetry website homepage... but... oh well! I still like it. ^_^ So, today I have to study for a test tomorrow and then go to work. And take a shower and eat and all that stuff. I decided not to go to school today since once of my two classes was cancelled for today, and I haven't missed any classes yet. I figured I could afford to miss one. This week's probably gonna be somewhat busy, I'm guessing. Tomorrow and Wednesday, when I'm not working, I will need to help my mom clean the house a lot for Thanksgiving. I don't know what I'll be doing Friday or Saturday, but one of those days will probably be spent with Tristen. Although Friday morning and Saturday morning/afternoon are both scheduled I'm sure (Friday = get up really early and look for good sales; Saturday = work till around 4). 02:08 pm - Update... Well, this week hasn't been all that great, overall. Nope, not at all. x_x One good thing, though, is that I'm finally not as busy as I have been lately. ^_^ Most of the school stuff is basically over. Phew! However, Monday was when all the crappy stuff started. It started out as a good day, except that I had a paper I needed to finish by Tuesday. Ended up as a gerat day, or so I thought it was going to, cuz Chip was really romantic I almost wanted to cry. <3 He left my house at like 11:30, and then I set to work finishing my paper. Like 15 minutes later, I heard some loud noise outside, but I didn't think anything of it. I went on with my work, finishing my paper, then I got ready to e-mail it to Chip cuz I wanted him to edit it some, and then as I was almost done at 12:30, Chip comes back into my room. Apparently, that loud noise was Chip accidentally losing the grip of his steering wheel and therefore hitting the corner of a brick mailbox. x_x So yeah, that sucked. And now Chip and I are gonna have to pay to get it fixed. ~sigh~ At this point, however, I was okay with everything, I knew everything would work out. However, as you may know, my family currently only has two vehicles. A cadillac and a huge van. And, my dad uses the cadillac a lot for work lately. So, yesterday, my mom went to ge the tires changed on the van cuz they were going flat, and then the van decided to stop its ability to switch into and out of park. x_x So, now we're down to one vehicle for our family. And Chip's parents won't let him drive anywhere except for school and to pick up job applications. Hopefully I'll still be able to get to work every day that I need to. And for the meantime, both Chip and I will have to just bum rides off of everyone we know. Arrrgh. So that is my update. Sigh. Perhaps I'll start updating more regularly now that school is winding down. Now I'll see what random highlights I can remember about the past month. Well, I hung out with Tristen on Saturday, and Erin and Candace came over on Friday night. That was fun. ^_^ Good weekend. :D And I saw Saw 2 a couple weeks ago. It was good. ^_^ <3 And... I can't think of anything else worth mentioning. Well, more like I can't think of anything else. Oh, and by the way, when I DO start reading people's LiveJournals from the past month or two (which might be soon... maybe now), I will be just reading people's individual LiveJournals, so don't be surprised if you randomly get a bunch of comments from me on your entries from the last month... heh. 04:16 pm I have decided that I'm going to take a semester off of school so that I can 1) plan the wedding, 2) take more hours at work and earn more money, and 3) help my mom with housework since she'll be working full-time from January till May. 09:35 pm I hate projects. I know that I'm trying my best, and that I will do my best, and I also know that it's absolutely impossible that I can get a 100. I might not even get an A. All because the words "varied use of materials" are in like EVERY category that we're being graded on, along with capturing the audience's attention. Arrgh. 01:25 pm Well, it's been a week and a half since I've updated... I guess I will now. ^_^ Our one-year anniversary was pretty fun. ^_^ We went out to eat and then we went back to his house and looked at the stars some. Then we danced a little, and looked at the stars more. It was nice. ^_^ Nothing really all that exciting has happened in my life in the past week and a half. And I don't want to try to strain my brain to remember what I did each day. So I'll just try to remember main points for those of you who care. Sunday.... went to church after going to work. Monday... went to school, then went to work. Then stayed up late and hung out with Chip. Tuesday I had no school. In other words, I got to go to bed late and then I woke up about the same time that I would have gotten home from school anyway. Then I mowed the lawn. And went to work. What a wonderful day of no school. ~cough~ Oh yeah... and work that day was the worst day so far. I almost went crazy. @_@ Wednesday was labeled a continuation of our one-year anniversary, so he bought me a card and a rose and I gave him a bunch of love quotes that I thought applied to our relationship. I also wrote out a poem for him. ^_^ I got to watch Lost that night since I got home from work early. Thursday... went to school and went to church. Then hung out at McDonald's again, but without Jason this time. And he was supposed to figure out how to make me blush! Friday, I hung out with Chip, Stip, Mike, and Robbie. First we went with my family to eat dinner, and then the five of us went mini-golfing. It was fun. ^_^ Then we were gonna go bowling, but it took too long so I went home and went to bed and they bowled without me. Saturday, I went to work, hung out with Chip, relaxed some, worked on a project, and then went over to Chip's house to play Munchkin with Chip, Stip, Mike, and Robbie. Yesterday, I came home, moped about how crappy work's been (really bad tips two days in a row), went to church with Chip, Stip, and Candace, felt better, went to McDonald's for dinner, and came home. Then the three of us watched Invasion after Candace left. Now, I just finished taking a midterm and now I'm waiting for Chris's class to end so I can go home. Then Chip's gonna help me work on that project some more. It's a project in World Religions class. That class scares me... x_x But I'm doing okay I guess. And that's about it. Thus ends the summarization of the "interesting" life of Christa in the past week. I feel blah. I want to go home and sleep. ...But that's not going to happen. Besides, I got enough sleep last night anyway. Current Mood: bored

09:24 am Well, I forgot to mention that Friday wasn't crappy to start with, heh. School was okay, and then right after school Candace picked me up and we went and saw Flightplan, which was really good. ^_^ Kinda like Red Eye in how it was better than I thought it would be. :D Sorry Candace! x_x I was too busy thinking about my job so I temporarily forgot about that part of the day! x_x So, yesterday wasn't all that bad. I hung out with Chip for an hour or two after school, and then I went home and found out that I needed to work that night. So I did, and then as soon as I got home I watched Supernatural and then a 1/2 hour special on the making/resurrecting of Firefly into the movie Serenity. *_* I can't wait to see it this weekend!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D <3 Okay so that was my day yesterday. And I should go start studying for my food test now... x_x Stupid memorization of all the food of Up The Creek and EVERYTHING that goes on it... x_x Current Mood: tired, cuz it's way too early!

09:59 am OK well I feel a bit better than I did when I wrote that last entry. I'm at school now, and I have an hour before an extra credit thing, so I guess I'll update. Friday was a pretty crappy day overall. I went to work... and got really stressed out about the whole thing. x_x I'm not sure what I'm getting myself into with this whole waitressing thing... Oh well. Friday night, we (Chip, Stip, Allan, and me) started playing the Evil Dead video game on the PS2. ^_^ It's soooo great. <3 Saturday, I didn't really do much of anything until work that night. Work was better than it had been Friday, but it's still stressful. I guess I need to get over how hot the trays are and just accept that my hands will get burned. We played some more Evil Dead later that night, and it got even better. :D I was gonna go to JapanFest for extra credit Saturday afternoon, but when I remembered that I was planning to do that it was too late. ~shrugs~ Oh well. Sunday, I worked the lunch shift. I started to learn how to actually CARRY the trays. THAT sucked. x_x I almost dropped one once, and I can't figure out how to carry/set up all the stuff that I need to. I hope I'll improve. I don't know when I work next, but I'm supposed to call tonight to find out. I went to church that night, and it was really good. There was this absolutely hilarious video that they showed us that I totally want to download and post on here. And, of course, we played some more Evil Dead right before I had to go to bed. And I talked to Eric for a few minutes earlier that night. Yesterday was okay overall, up until a few minutes before my last post... and once I get upset or hurt about one thing, I start to think of all the other reasons why I should be sad, and that just makes it worse. Nothing interesting happened yesterday though, I just went to school, worked on schoolwork, and did some cleaning and random stuff when I was home. I was planning to clean my room as best I could, but I lost my inspiration when I had just started and ended up not doing it. :-/ Well, that's about all that's going on with me. 09:17 am Well, work went well on Monday. It was just orientation; training started yesterday. They just had me fill out a bunch of paperwork and gave me a booklet of stuff to read. I found out yesterday that they were also supposed to give me the booklet with all the menu information as well, and that they were supposed to tell me that I had the wrong type of black pants. x_x Oh well. Now I get to go buy new pants today. ~shrugs~ And that was my Monday. Tuesday, I did some stuff at home, and that night we watched the new show Supernatural which is a really good show so far. ^_^ Nothing else interesting happened on Tuesday. Wednesday, after school, I came home for a bit and got ready to go to Anime Club and then to the fair. So Chip and I both went to Brookwood and we talked to my French teacher for a few minutes before going to Anime Club. I got to say hello to everyone, and once the shows were about to start we left, cuz Chip didn’t really want to see the shows they were gonna play. So we then went to the fair, and had a really good time except for this one ride… called the Orbiter. About an hour after the fair opened, we decided to go on that ride. However, it was just us and two other teenage couples. So, they made the ride go extra fast and about 4 times longer than it usually is. The force exerted on you during that ride is incredible!!! (And incredibly painful.) Afterwards, we just kinda sat down for like 15 minutes with horrible headaches. My headache didn’t completely go away for like an hour. And due to all of the spinning, forceful rides, I felt like I was gonna faint later on that night whenever I got up. I felt better in the morning though. So anyway, it was fun overall. ^_^ It definitely made up for the waste of money on Saturday, cuz on weekdays you can pay just $17 per person and get an all-day pass to all the rides. We did spend money on food, though. We got some chicken fingers, and some roasted corn, which was really good, and then this really cool dessert that looks like blue soft-serve ice cream but it tastes like a snow cone… oooh it was so good… *_* So we went home after that, and we then watched the Lost premiere… 0.0 OMG it was sooooooooooo incredible!!! I LOVE that show!!!!!! <3 It rocks. :D We watched Surface afterwards, which was pretty good. ^_^ Then I went to bed. Yesterday, I got home, did some stuff, and read that booklet that Up The Creek gave me. Then Chip came over, and we got to see each other for like 5 minutes. :( Then I had to get ready and eat food before I left for training. So, during my two hours of training, I learned about the food and how the Expo job position works… at least I think that was what it was called. And I learned some about garnishing the food. I hope I do well today! ^_^ And now, I’m at school, and right now is when my first class was SUPPOSED to end… but NOOOO! I got to school, sat there for like 15 minutes with everyone else, and then we found out that the class was cancelled for today… x_x So remember, this is on the day that I don’t have class again until NOON!!! x_x So I had almost 4 hours of no classes or anything. Now it’s closer to 3. But I think I’m gonna go do some homework now. Byebye!!! ^_^ Current Mood: tired
